Das Projekt "Lastenrad LUKS (Alternativ #2)"

Das Lastenrad LUKS (Modell: Alternativ #2) ist ein besonderes Re-Use und Upcycling Fahrrad aus Schrotträdern der Marke "Upcycle Cargobikes" von UpCycle Earth, mit der Modellbezeichnung "Alternativ" und der Radnummer "2". Aus UpCycle Earth wurde zwischenzeitlich UpCycle S.i.S. (Luxembourg-based social impact collective UpCycle SIS, Société d’Impact Sociétal), ein Design Studio in Luxemburg.

Als Name für das Lastenrad ist zugleich ein Arbeitstitel für das Projekt. Wie so oft und mit Hintersinn ist der ausgewählte Name für das Freie Lastenrad ein Akronym.
So steht LUKS für "Lastenrad-Upcycling-Kreislaufwirtschaft-Sozial-Ökonomisch-Ökologischen-Nachhaltigkeit" (oder auf englisch: Longjohn-Upcling-King-of-the-Circular-Economy-in-Sustainability).
